2021年5月福建福碳先后与天津大学，清华大学共建研究所，研制与提高等静压石墨性能，与清华大学无锡应用技术研究院成立先进碳材料研究中心，采用外国的先进工艺技术，产品主要用于光伏、光纤、半导体、有色金属、蓝宝石、EDM、氢能、航天航空等工业领域
